On this day in 2021 was the last day I had a sense of smell. I miss the smell of sautéing garlic and onions. I miss the smell of fresh mown hay. Hell I miss all the smells even the bad ones.

Winter’s here. Check your dogs paws. Ice and snow can cause damage to pads. Claws can freeze and break. Snow “salt” can be caustic and toxic. Short haired breeds and lean dogs may need sweaters or even coats to prevent frostbite.

Quick reminder grapes and raisins can kill your dog. It’s not dose dependent. Don’t give them even one. It can cause fatal acute kidney failure.

My life recently imploded. I’ve really been struggling. But I spent some time deep in the forest today and saw this. I feel like the fallen tree and the live tree is all my friends supporting me during these difficult days.

On the anniversary of the most horrific day in my lifetime I want to honor those who tragically lost their lives & thank those who selflessly rushed into the mayhem to save as many people as possible. I support them in their ongoing struggle with the health problems the rubble caused.
