Took the time to get my loves back to 2" in the last month or so. They had shrunk up to 1.5" since I hadn't worn anything in like 6 months.

I actually loved this thing as a kid in the 80s.
The black ring was what actually was the directional pad, so you could bypass the red swivel thumb thing. And it was more ergonomic and had turbo buttons!

Looks like one of the brushes wasn't making good connection with the communicator. Took them out, cleaned them up, made sure the wires were good and boom. Didn't stop running until I turned it off at 200psi.
