Hot Pokemon take? After hitting the highest rank in #PTCGP I think I am finally qualified to say that there is very little skill expression and it's mostly just luck. Glad I hit Master as this is my first card game I've ever played, but I think TCGs just aren't a very skillful genre.

You can directly gauge how serious a Gen 4 Pokémon fan is about the competitive scene based on how much time they have spent in Diglett's Cave

I'm not sure if this is a particularly hot #gamedev take and I swear this isn't directed at any other team but talking and interacting with fans online is genuinely fun to me. It's one of my favorite things about working in games tbh, being able to talk to fans that are so passionate is sick

The real purpose of GDC is finding as many strangers as possible that work at the same studios as your friends and having them shitpost your friends via Slack and Teams for you

It's cheaper to enroll for a single credit class at the local community college to get the Adobe student discount than it is to pay full price for Adobe. I wonder if they have game dev classes
