I have a friend who likes to DM dnd campaigns, but his story concepts only seem to revolve around 'something has occurred that has brought magic to Earth.'
Like...my character became the ruler of France last campaign.
It kinda limits how much I can get into the story.

I’m realizing that one of the reasons I’ve become so open to moving is that it’s becoming apparent that the few friends I have here don’t share some of the core values I do.
And though I don’t expect anyone to ever match my values perfectly, the differences are becoming more glaring to me.
