My next book will be published spring 2026! Finished and submitted to the publisher. 333 pages, 1,560 footnotes, over 500 sources. Whew.

Okay on Sunday I finished drafts of two major projects I’d been working on a long time and this is some of what I used for one of them. This election has done wonders for my productivity because my angst and grief and anxiety is all being directed at my keyboard. 😂😂

This semester, this year, is just an endless cycle of work and more work and exhaustion. Between classes and other duties and mommy-ing I’m working on this huge pile of sources. Where will all this lead? Not sure. Hopefully to a later year that is slower and less stressful. 2026?

Haven’t posted forever but I have been busy on this epic sabbatical research trip. Four islands, two countries, so many villages and cities, a million Tehbotols, so much great everything, and yes I’m tired.
