I'm not going to post any, but getting AI to create poems about Musk and Trump in the styles of Ted Hughes and Pam Ayers has been great fun.

I ordered breakfast in a cafe this morning. They said they don't have any poached eggs left, only fried or scrambled.

I've been giving this a good go. Can't decide how I feel about it. Some gems for sure, but a decent amount of cheese too.

The old version of this vanished from my Apple Classical library and then had to be re-added in this new version - new cover and a better sequencing of the works. It's still a gem, a "must have."

Before the rabble wakes up and the anarchy starts, it's just me and a lot of tea and some light entertainment.

A brief, pre-Christmas trip across the border.

Still enjoying my exploration of Swedish prog.

Takes the pain out of having to log on and catch up on some work on a Sunday afternoon.

This has been one of my all time favourites since I was little. I was off school sick and snooping around my brother's records. I loved the cover. I put on side 2 and what I heard sounded the way the cover looked.

It may be heretical for me to say so, but I do find a lot of Schulze's music a bit samey. This one, however, is really working for me.

Good morning all. A frantic day ahead for me, but I've got tea on IV drip and Holst in me lugs so all is well.

@kermodeandmayo.bsky.social Hello, my access to bonus stuff has stopped overnight even though, according to Apple, my subscription is still live. Who do I contact for help?

Can't help it. I'm going in. I loved the original album as a teenager.

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election 👀 #BookSky #BlackBookSky

It's an eccentric version, bonkers perhaps, but I do love it.

Well, this got a kicking in some of the reviews, but I think it's a fine Sunday afternoon adventure.

I've been revisiting Lisa Gerrard's music after yesterday's Sound of Cinema (she co-wrote the Gladiator soundtrack with that bloke from the Buggles video). I had no idea she'd also had a crack at this:

I have read so much Simon Armitage this year. What a legend. The one I'm currently reading is as devastatingly beautiful as the others.

I’m a bit ignorant when it comes to contemporary prog, but over the last fortnight I’ve been exploring The Flower Kings. They’re an absolute delight.

When I first read this, aged about 20, it went over my head. It’s getting a second reading at 54 and now I find it utterly chilling and jaw-droppingly well written.

Look what the eBay fairy sent me today.

A classy, icy, fusion start to the day for me.

I’d forgotten how beautiful this recording is. I’m very happy to renew my acquaintance with it.
