This headline is obvious right-wing ragebait, but Vikings did settle in Muslim Spain (Seville, 844 CE) and there’s archaeological evidence some converted to Islam. Teaching about Muslim Vikings isn’t ‘woke’ - it’s documented history. Not the norm, but not preposterous either.

1. This bill was introduced on April 1st, before Trump’s tariffs were announced.
2. These are sanctions, not tariffs.

Good lord, Cursor really does live up to the hype, especially since it's the only coding assistant that lets you use thinking mode on Claude 3.7 Sonnet (without paying ~$20 an hour for API usage in Claude Code)

It’s truly incredible how out of touch WaPo’s leadership is with their subscribers (and likely their newsroom) if this is what they think will drive growth. People subscribed to their newspaper specifically because they’re NOT any of these things.
