Two bobbins of my singles spun in a 3 ply! One of them ended up closer to a DK than a sport and the other closer to fingering rather than Sport. Regardless! Delighted! #tourdefleece

Had to take a day off from errands and pushing myself today BUT it meant I could spend the time spinning my singles! I finished up another 100g fiber braid of Shetland and will be plying them tomorrow ~

We traded (she got the pull out bed and I got the spinning chair) which means I got to do my first ply of #tourdefleece2025 !!! Trying my very first proper 3ply for a guersey weight sweater pattern and really happy with the results.

Did some very light drop spinning yesterday while in for a medical infusion so today had the idea I’d get plenty done for #tourdefleece2025 it seems Miss Luna has other plans for my spinning station 😂

Day Two of #tourdefleece2025 so far so good! The chatter of the wheel is so comforting~ finally had to stop when Miss Luna (my kitty) protested her bedtime being postponed by my spinning 🧶🐱

Figured I'd do an update from this month considering I spent MOST OF IT spinning as a respite from all the Holiday Knitting the last few months.

Been at this for about a week and feel like I've finally got the hang of it? Current spin on the spindle and first attempt on the right.
Honestly? Really enjoying spinning. It's much more relaxing than I thought it would be and is really lovely when my joints are acting up too much to knit
