caught the CMOS/Hibernate battery before it could do more harm. Still meh but didn't creep fully through the laptop-side jack. Would have to full disassemble to see that much deeper, but did as much brushing as I could inside the other side. Hopefully there are replacements 🥲

Tried my steam cleaner to do the prep step and it worked decent, but my back hurts from bending over the sink to scrub/rinse these properly 🥲
Same for all the little parts, and the blue/clear still needs retrobrite treatment 🫠

haven't been for almost a year now after realizing the waffles were what had gotten worse
price going up almost 2x in 10 years -and- lowering quality is such a shame
is funny, since the logo waffle irons seemed relatively new when they got replaced
