One of my best friends came for a flying weekend visit and bought me the tiniest #ouija board I have ever seen.
Literally said we should catch up this weekend, I said yes and she booked flights from Sydney.
It is magnificent! Even has a little draw :)

I like that I'm seeing a lot of people saying in addition to not buying anything tomorrow they're going to use the day to cancel Prime subscriptions, switch to duck duck go, libro.fm etc. If this gets people thinking about their consumption habits like that it's a great thing.

The Tech Industry is the worst thing to happen to modern society. After Steve Jobs died we’ve had nerd after nerd promising to change life as we know it just to release a microwave that you need a subscription service to use.
Isn't it wild that most of the tech companies that run the world don't make anything, offer anything, or do anything?
Like, why is X worth even a penny? They have a shitty website with bad code. It's not even proprietary - BlueSky does the exact same thing but better. It's just inertia.
