On the plus side it is a lot quicker and easier to find help for any ol random hunt using the sos flare

You can still play the newer MH games like this but I'm afraid they are very full of Gamers™️ and the same sense of conraderie is harder to find in just random lobbies

Like doing well on a bunch of hunts with a group and then exchanging guild cards and friend requests with everyone right before the group disbands?? That's such an awesome feeling. It really embodies the feeling of banding together with fellow hunters to fell insurmountably powerful monsters

Oh yeah for real. I'm glad there were cause those amazing artists are part of the reason I draw today!!

If I have the energy (to draw) and/or the money (to buy gift) after my tooth surgery, I really wanna go hard on drawing and buying gifts for my friends this year

I mean I kinda get the appeal. Going around and playing toys with friends as your favorite skin (I'm super autistic about Haxsaur from fortnite so I totally get the draw of this), but everything else surrounding the game is just like. God. Can't we just play something else

Granted this was a long time ago so the idea seemed a lot less overdone at the time (at least to younger me) and I was actually kinda excited for it
