Back when Pokémon was originally new and I was still learning about it, I chose Bulbasaur because the manual had it listed as Pokédex entry #1. Piplup was my first non-Grass type starter, since previews of Empoleon (Water/Steel??) looked amazing. The adorable Fennekin is the lone Fire-type.

I can't overstate just how much I prefer my Amiibo over the looks of that Funko pop.
