Barrlodo and Mudipnoi. Water/Ground Type Pokémon based on mud and South American Lungfish with a little Salmonid inspiration from Splatoon. Pleshoal and Elasmosoul. Water/Ghost Ttpe Pokémon based on Elasmosaurus, Bioluminescence, and Viperfish. Flampole. The Fire Starter of my Pokémon region (and my personal favorite). It’s based on salamanders, the mythos of them being resistant to fire, volcanoes, and Temnospondyls. Jerewt. The Final Evolution of Flampole and is a Fire/Poison Type. It’s based on salamanders, the mythos of them being resistant to fire, volcanoes, and Temnospondyls. It is also somewhat based on the Jersey Devil.

Starter Pokémon based on different types of pollution I did as a challenge. Their names are Recycoon, Kabossum, and Palomagua. They all share the Poison Typing. Hagyxini. A Poison/Fairy Type Pokémon based on Hagfish, their mucus which can have medicinal properties, and the Pokémon Milotic. Carnoak. A Grass/Dragon Type Psuedo-Legendary Pokémon. It’s based on Carnotaurus, thorns, and the Amazon Jungle. Saleraze. A middle evolution of my Fire Starter from my Pokémon Region. It’s based on Salamanders and their mythos of behind resistant to fire, Temnospondyls, and volcanoes.

I’m Currently doing a Pokémon Region based on Mesoamerica and here are some of the Pokémon you’ll find below.
Jerewt. A Fire/Poison Type Pokémon that is the final evolution of the Fire Starter in my Region. Jerewt is based on Salamanders, the mythos of salamanders being resistant to fire, Temnospondyls, volcanoes, and a hint of the Jersey Devil. Hagyxini. A Poison/Fairy Type Pokémon based on Hagfish, the potential use of hagfish mucus in medicine, and the Pokémon Milotic. Brontyke & Brontremor. Electric/Ground Type Pokémon based on Brontotherium, storm clouds, thunderstorms, and the mythos of the Thunder Horse from Native America, specifically the Sioux tribe known as the Santee Dakota. Carnoak. A Grass/Dragon Type Pokémon that is the final evolution of a psuedo-legendary. It is based on Carnotaurus, thorns, iguanas, and a hint of Sceptile.

For today’s #FakemonFriday, I wanted to do something different. I saw @doodlelotl.bsky.social’s trash animal starter trio and thought “What if they were actually Pokémon?”
With that, here are Recycoon, Kabossum, and Palomagua. The trio based on pollution!

In the spirit of of two Mega Evolutions being revealed in today’s Pokémon Legends Z/A DLC Trailer, I’m posting my Starters Mega Evolutions along with Mega Saunotitan. #Fakemon #Pokemon #Fakemonart #Pokemonart #MegaEvolution #PokemonLegendsZA
Mega Werewrath. A Grass/Chaos Type Pokémon that Mega Evolves from a Werewrathite. It has a new Ability called Nagual. Nagual: Using the power of ancient, chaotic energy, the user’s moves will steal 5% of the opponents HP compared to the damage dealt. This also boost the user’s own moves by 10%. *Chaos Type: A new Typing that is immune to and is super effective against Fairy Types. Pokédex Entry: Due to Mega Evolution, Werewrath has now become even more powerful than before and has now achieved the Chaos Type. Its tail has also become drastically different, becoming more like an appendage that can wield it’s Lycahuitl or crush foes in its grasp. Werewrath’s previous stoic personality now has become outright brutal and animalistic, willing do everything it can in a wild frenzy to win and absolutely decimate its target, physically and mentally. Mega Jerewt. A Fire/Poison Type Pokémon that Mega Evolves from a Jerewtite. It has a new Ability called Searing Force. Searing Force: Physcial moves gain a 25% boost in power and always will burn the opponent. Pokédex Entry: Because of the massive burst of Mega Energy, Jerewt’s tail has now exploded from the energy of Mega Evolution. It now acts like a constant volcanic eruption, spewing toxic lava and ash reaching temperatures of 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Jerewt’s arms have now grown so large and heavy that a single punch can make cause tremors and lava to erupt from the earth. Jerewt’s body temperature has gotten to a degree that when it is near vegetation, they will begin to combust and burn into ash. Even reinforced steel and iron will melt like ice in the sun in Jerewt’s presence. Mega Gojirex. A Water/Dragon Type Pokémon that Mega Evolves from a Gojirexite. It has a new Ability called Thalassic. Thalassic: Water Type Moves gain a significant crit boost and all stats will raise by 1 in Rain. Pokédex Entry: Due to its fins and tail fluke having become larger and stronger, it’s swim speed beats even that of the most experienced Water type Pokémon and can outswim a Mega Gyrados. It swims and battles like that of a unstoppable warrior, hence the moniker, “El Guerrero del Agua”. Gojirex’s claws are strong enough to cleave through a battleship without issue. Mega Saunotitan. A Water/Fire Type Pokémon that Mega Evolves from a Saunotite. Dex Entry: Saunotitan’s water attacks have now become truly devastating, being able to shoot compressed jets of scalding water to the point of slicing through steel. The Pokémon who fall victim to its power then become Saunotitan’s means of sustenance, whether they are conscious or not to experience it.

Arctodile. An Ice/Dark Type Pokémon based on American Crocodiles, Allogators and their hibernation, the Andes, and Candy Canes. Sloggle & Thalassloth. Water/Fighting Ttpe Pokémon based on the Marine Sloth, Thalassocnus and Olympic Swimmers. Werewrath. A Grass/Dark Type Pokémon that is the final evolution of the Grass Starter, Woleaf. It’s based on Maned Wolves and Mesoamerican Warriors along with the Macuahuitl. Saleraze. The middle evolution of the Fire Starter, Flampole. It’s based on salamanders, the mythos of salamanders being resistant to fire, Temnospondyls, and volcanoes.

Water/Fire Type Pokémon based on Shunosaurus, Apatosaurus, Hot Springs and Oasis. An artpiece depicting my Fire Starter, Jerewt, fighting a Haxorus in a volcanic/plains landscape. Honestly, I would love that. Especially if they have any genuine criticisms and advice for my Fakemon. I always want to improve and make them more believable as actual Pokemon, if you get what I mean.

Stegolith & Thagotasma are based on Stegosaurs. Specifically Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, and Miragaia. They are also based on the Tello Obelisk from Peru that was made by the Chavin Culture, and is believed to have spiritual meaning.

Chuki and Vulkrypt. Ghost/Flying Psudeo-Legendary Pokémon based on vultures,condors, and Therizinosaurus. Vulterror. The final evolution of Chuki and a Ghost/Flying Psuedo-Legendary Pokémon based on vultures,condors,Argentavis, and lammergeier. Hagyxini. A Poison/Fairy Hagfish Pokemon based on Hagfish, their slime which can have medicinal properties, and Milotic. Stegolith and Thagotasma. Rock/Ghost Type Stegosaurus Pokemon based on Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Miragaia, and the Tello Obelisk of Peru. It’s work in progress!
