Every year we all cry out for a better more kind loving comforting year and every year we do it knowing the next year is going to be such dogshit, such incredible terrible dogshit and there's absolutely nothing we can do but withstand it for another year

And that's the triumph of the human spirit

When I was 5, I loved science, which I took to be planets and magnets and chemicals and shit.

Soon I realized science was a collective human activity, and these were just the objects of its attention.

Anyway, whenever I read an OpEd on how science isn't political, I think "Are you 5 years old?"

Democrats have spent years carefully abandoning political positions it fears might cost them votes, each time getting closer to the ultimate goal: a political party that has zero positions and therefore cannot lose votes.

If you are still playing videos at full volume on public transit in the year 2023, the other people should be allowed to kick you off at the side of the road/track. If you do it during my morning commute before my coffee? Immediate jail

Welcome to Bluesky! Here's a few rules you must follow:

1. Put a content warning on any post that includes the word moist.

2. Always use the hashtag #freethewhales. Otherwise, we will assume you are in favor of whale incarceration.

3. Tell five of your friends to join. Yes, it's a pyramid scheme.
