Saw this on my LinkedIn feed. Heartbreaking.

Gonna be extra important that you support disabled people in the years ahead. To be super-blunt about it, one way to do that is to pay us for our skills & provide health insurance

Life is more expensive for us & paradoxically, reliable pay is harder to come by, irrespective of education/resume

SEPTEMBER 5 is a great film that I had missed seeing while it was in theaters. Well-acted and subtle and intense, and, without feeling exploitative, it brings forward a lot of moments of moral complexity around the responsibility of news coverage in moments of uncertainty and tragedy

Some heady and occasionally scary/depressing topics being addressed at the Impact Guild…

Happened to me tonight.

I have a feeling thoughts like these (pity, as a default) are contributory to why there aren’t more disabled people in the @WGAWest or in other professional spaces
