Has Biden appointed more African American judges than any previous president? Per the FJC's numbers NBC's claim already appears verified both in total Judges (district, appeals, and SCOTUS), and ratio of African American judges to total judges appointed.

Law School: Biden's appointments went to traditionally elite schools

Birth State: The most judges came from California and primarily on the east coast.

Gender balance: Biden's appointments are majority female as approximately a 1.5:1 ratio.

Donald Trump already appointed 3 SCOTUS justices in his one term which is an anomaly for recent presidents (some have 0 opportunities). Reagan in two terms had 4 and that's the most in the modern er. Here are the presidents with two or more confirmed picks (elevations count too)

The result in Allen v. Milligan surprised many of us when Roberts and Kavanaugh voted with the liberals overturning the Alabama election map as violating sec. 2 of the Voting Rights Act. Seems folks think they got it right - 57% of those surveyed agreed with the decision compared to 17% that didn't.
