So, we unchain the crocodile, Gallus shoves a pole down its throat so it vomits Vexius out, and then Tazuun wins by forcing Vexius to vomit up the pearl.

Gallus decides that the best approach is to chain the crocodile's mouth closed so Vexius suffocates. Tazuun is a bit unsure of the best approach, so he rides the crocodile around the arena to cement his position as the crowd's favourite.

So, we start with Dirk feeding a little servant boy a black pearl, then smothering him in pig fat and feeding him to a gigantic crocodile dressed as a dragon.
We gladiators escape our chains, and Vexius hurls himself into the croc's mouth in order to make the small oily boy vomit.
