Felix eyed him, his frown deepening. “Boar,” he said by way of greeting. “You look terrible.”

“Good morning to you too.”

“When was the last time you slept?” Felix barrelled on, undaunted. He didn’t bother waiting for an answer before turning his attention on Dedue. “Did he even go to bed last night?”

“His Majesty remained in his office all night,” Dedue answered without hesitation. “I do not believe he slept at all.”

Dimitri tried not to sigh as Felix launched into a rant. He was happy that two of his closest friends now got along. Truly! However, he dearly wished that their comradery would focus on anything other than badgering him.

On the other side of Felix, Sylvain grinned. “If you’re going to stay up all night anyway, you might as well find a more…pleasant way to pass your time,” he said, speaking over Felix’s lecture. Sylvain looked back at the knight trailing them. “Don’t you agree, Sir Byleth?”

I am not defending Landon’s relationship with Epstein. In fact, the NYT didn’t even try to defend it. He left the paper. What I’m saying is that a piece of investigative journalism that exposes a secret, criminal act such as statutory rape requires far more than what is in these emails.
