In my opinion, Sarah Huckabee, during the first administration, was reasonable, the only reasonable one Trump ever had. She actually KNEW information. As normal, she used fact selection and "spin," but rarely told any outright lies or just made up answers on the spot.

We haven't heard much about the progress of the new construction, its start, or any completion date. It's almost as if the East Wing was destroyed for the sake of destructions.

The purpose of Veteran's Day is to honor, to thank, and to recognize our living veterans, not to celebrate a "US victory" in 1918.

Transportation is never primarily about comfort or luxury. First, most, and always, it is about destinations and frequency of service. If it can get you where you need to be, when you need to be there, you will use it. If not, not.

He isn't taking an oath, he's giving the oath of enlistment to new members of the armed services. He was hoping to use them as a kind of human shield, by having MAGA world pretend to believe that the crowd was booing the new service members, and attacking them for it.

Experts do NOT "struggle to define them." There's been a recognized international standard, the NOVA food classification, in place since 2017, AS MENTIONED IN THE ARTICLE. The only struggle is by ultra-processed food makers to avoid having their food called that.

The UN Decade of Nutrition, the NOVA food classification and the trouble with ultra-processing
Given evident multiple threats to food systems and supplies, food security, human health and welfare, the living and physical world and the biosphere, the years 2016–2025 are now designated by the UN as the Decade of Nutrition, in support of the UN ...

The Trump administration will no more succeed in reversing that trend then they have succeeded in reviving coal mining.

If they the Democrats actually get their vote in the Senate, and they also get a vote in the House, and a bill passes both houses, and ACA subsidies are restored and extended, then I will say "Wow! I was wrong! They WERE 3D chess grandmasters after all."

Hope I'm wrong, of course.

6th committee's documentation of what Trump was seeing on TV, saying, and doing--then a "revelation" that Trump WANTS to deny healthcare to millions of Americans isn't likely to do it.

Suanne, it is a puzzle. But I have stopped hoping that things would change "once we see who Trump is." For about three days after January 6th, people (meaning Republicans) seemed to see it, and then Trump's supporters managed to shrug it off. If January 6th didn't do it--especially after the January

Interior decorators have been doing this since time immemorial. At least since I was a kid. Decorators would call a second bookstore and ask for so many red books, so many green books... I assume they wanted them to be similar in size and color, too.

It's only a promise. Press accounts don't make it clear whether the promise had a timeframe, or whether it's just "someday." Not a promise to do something (like partially restore ACA subsidies), just a promise to take a vote. In ONE chamber. They got nothing, nothing, NOTHING.
