Fans extend every excuse they can for this and all the other racist humor and rape jokes that is used in these and their other videos in order to avoid admitting that they the points they recite are from somebody who thinks Samuel Jackson should only be cast as an angry black man.

it says the same about both. Revolutionaries starting wars to overthrows their oppressors is good, actually. Like I said, the limit of your imagination is voting lol

I’m not “trying” to undermine anything, the movie does that for me dude. You know his little community outreach center is meaningless bullshit and you’re just complaining that I pointed it out.

What did T’Challa change? He opened a Wakanda YMCA lol. Wow that’s really gonna liberate people

Yes as far as these sorts of movies are concerned only supercops who serve the state are entitled to do violence and kill people. All violence not sanctioned by the state is illegitimate and has to be relentlessly undermined by the narrative

The sequel doesn’t alter the text or subtext of the original, and the film undermining the good faith of the black revolutionary so the status quo can continue unchanged (with the help of the representative of the world hegemon via the CIA) is a deliberate choice open to criticism

So your issue is drawing special attention to the CIA’s involvement? That obviously has particularly ugly implications given the actual history of U.S. imperialism. And what’s wrong with revolutionaries killing their oppressors anyway? Maybe the revolutionaries should’ve just voted harder?

Leaving aside that it’s deeply funny to focus solely on the obviously comedic description of his antics in the relevant scene, he *did* stop black revolutionaries didn’t he

I’ve said it before but the audience in the cinema I saw it in audibly groaned in exhaustion at this. Deeply funny

Did CIA agent Bilbo Baggins not use cultural appropriation to murder revolutionaries? Pretty sure he did

You’d think they’d want their return to cinema would be a big event but if they’re deliberately going for “here’s a 2 hour episode of the Mandalorian I guess” the advertising has certainly succeeded in conveying that vibe

That's the wild part is I don't think anyone has actually blamed this on Jon Favreau. Nobody reasonable thinks Disney and LucasFilm were somehow in an either/or situation that Jon Favreau somehow influenced? We just think the one that was actually greenlit looks like shit

Mandalorian and Grogu is worse IMO. Just has no vibes or sense of action or mystery at all

Are you anti-anti nuTrek

If *sighs loudly* The Mandalorian and Grogu has no defenders it’s because you died
