The United States is an adversary for other western democracies. Nobody should be under any illusion about this. Whether the relationships can be repaired, after the passing of this appalling Administration and this appalling man, is open to question.

Actually I think the public is quite capable of agreeing that destroying cancer research and treatment programs is a bad thing. Attack Trump and the Republicans on every front - not just a limited front.
But that requires effort and thought on the part of the Democratic Party.

I haven’t met or seen a single Star Wars fan who wanted Palpatine resurrected. And the rot started with his ridiculous first movie of the last trilogy which was almost as bad as the third one.
Relative to those three movies Rogue One was cinematic genius.

Far past time for the DOJ lawyers to be referred for sanctions by the appropriate Bar. And a bench warrant should be issued for the State Department Official, and anyone connected with the decision to provide perjured testimony, to appear before the judge. No matter how high up the chain.

At some point a competent opposition political party would be able to make hay with this. To the point that the current ruling party would be destroyed as an active political force - permanently.
It would be nice if the Democrats had some leaders and consultants who might focus on doing that.
