Writers, this is your annual reminder if you’re not on any of those ‘books of the year’ list, or if you didn’t get published, or didn’t get an agent, you still wrote a fucking book which is a big deal. Well done us.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I have a.m. meetings, but *so* often want to call. Grew up with Depression/Bipolar Syndrome/Autism. Awful life, felt lost, useless, a burden to all. Amazing wife made me get help in 2018. Am now the published author I always dreamed of being. Thanks for all you do, James. ❤️

A friend of mine, active in ex-services PTSD work, told me his ex-army mates read BRD and complimented my treatment of poor Walter Callahan's story. One called it an "easy read" meaning he enjoyed it without it triggering him.
