Last October, a year’s worth of rain fell in just 8 hours, destroying homes and claiming over 200 lives. Many families are still rebuilding - and we are there with them, providing mental health support and helping strengthen health systems.

Billions of £ have been wasted on ineffective asylum accommodation. Safe, community-based and cost-efficient housing is possible and should be a priority, if only on medical grounds.
