Republicans need to act now to make sure those benefits are available to people who depend on them. If they don’t, millions of children, seniors, and low-income Americans will go hungry ahead of the holidays.

Have you tried the trick where you start naming things that begin with the letter A, name as many as you can think of, then go to the next letter. I usually pick fruits/vegetables. Asparagus, Apples… Beets, Bananas… Most nights I might make it to K (Kiwis, Kale…) sometimes I get to Z and start over.

Minister Lightbound says it’s time for tough choices, but his choices are not about bolster the service, but cutting it back. Other choices could be made: allowing and building out postal banking or recognizing a public service does not need to be profitable, as an example.
