The biggest immediate concern is that it makes US ships abroad targets.
What happens when we start seeing China/Russia/Iran blow us civilian ships out of the water under the guise of them being ‘macro-terrorism vessels’
I’m not saying that’s what happened here, but it sets a dangerous precedent.
