i don't know if i've ever felt more hopeless than watching an elderly black man get dragged out of the room for calling out fascism while dozens of white people sat silently with their lollipop signs and watched and did nothing
He stood alone with courage in the face of tyranny.

The USA has had two major plane crashes in the last 4 days.

The USA had previously not suffered a major plane crash for 16 years.

‘DEI’ programs have existed for decades.

So what was it that changed in the last 14 days or so to suddenly cause so many crashes?

I’m a late baby as far as generations go... I was born in the age of disco, and my grandmother was 30 the year Wyatt Earp died.

Khloe Kardashian is smack talking LA Mayor Karen Bass over the wildfires.

In 2022, Khloe used roughly 101,000 gallons of water over the allotted limit during a drought.

Her sister Kim Kardashian used 232,000 gallons over the limit.

IN ONE MONTH.

Bish needs to sit TF down.

This is important
FEMA has issued a guide on how to apply for federal aid if you've been impacted by the wildfires.

Aid may include money for food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication, or even with basic home repairs and personal property losses. www.huffpost.com/entry/southe...

A reminder - in the year 2020, Donald Trump rejected the California government’s request for federal disaster relief funds to help the state recover from its devastating wildfires.

He said no.

And the second he’s given the chance, he will do it again.

So, let me see if I have this straight - you maga meatheads went from “America First/America Only” to “Hell yeah we want Canada, Panama and Greenland/Manifest Destiny baby!” in the span of like a few fucking weeks, and none y’all gives a fuck about eggs or immigrants anymore?

Timing is everything. Went 48 hours feeling great about being told I’m in remission before they called to let me know my tumor markers went from 12 to 28 in three months. Tests again in a month. Hope it’s just this garbage virus I’ve had giving it a false result. Just… I’m so f’ing tired.

Um, my oncologist’s PA used the words “cured, in remission” today.
I DIDNT CRY, not at all. Awesome wife will agree so you don’t even have to ask her, I swear.

Republicans want to tell you what books you can read, what bathroom you can use, what words you can say, what history you can learn, what you can or can’t do with your own body and what gender you are… but tell me more about how the Dems are “coming for your freedoms”.

Idiots.

A bit about me, and why I hate the 2020’s, but am actually pretty proud of my self for keeping on keeping on…
A year training my work replacement (but got saved by a good boss.)
My semi-estranged parents getting COVID at Xmas of 2020, 1500 miles a way. Dad never went home: turns out he has dementia.

Six decades later, Star Trek may still be the only franchise based on the ideas that diversity is strength, justice is the measure of civilization, bounty is to be shared, peace is worth the price, and all these things can be achieved.

We need more shows that look ahead and find goodness.

Trump, who sold a whole bunch of idiots on not “knowing anything about Project 2025,” just picked Russell Vought, a key figure in Project 2025, to lead the Office of Management and Budget.

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc
