When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.

Does anyone know if there will ever be a list of everyone who ran in the Barkley Marathons this year? I've seen two partial lists, but now that it's over, will they post all the names anywhere? #bm100

Email sent to FDA staff informs that agency leadership canceled the agency's LexisNexis subscription, even though staff need this tool to research legal and regulatory information as part of their jobs.

I'm reproducing the text of the email here:

If you've never heard of the Barkley Marathons, do yourself a favor and look it up (there's a great documentary)! You're missing the world's weirdest and possibly most grueling endurance race. It's being live skeeted!! #BM100

One thing we liked about T-Mobile was that they guaranteed our rate for life when we signed up. Now they've announced they're raising our rates. How is this possible?

If you are in Oklahoma or know others that are with school age children, please pass this along to them. Defense of Democracy created opt-out forms for Ryan Walter’s forced bible instruction. Let’s keep getting in good trouble!

I took the free OpenAI course for K-12 educators. I found it shifted the responsibility to educators to discover how to use these tools in their classrooms while offering frames that prevented the development of a critical thinking toolkit.

OK, let's test this new network. What does this Latin phrase mean in English? "tempus non volet modo sagittae." Google translate gives me "Time does not want to just shoot." But ... huh? I ask because I just received, in the mail, a T-shirt with this emblazoned upon it. No return address.

Awesome site for sheet music (downloadable! free!) of transcriptions of early lute music for ukulele. Has pieces sorted by level, even. Arrangements are the author's own, and the rest is public domain, so no copyright violations.

Using the internet for good. These are 9 trees (5 cedar, 4 fir) that could not stay in my yard because they’ll get too big. Just gave ‘em away on Reddit to someone reforesting 9 acres of land. Bonus: she’s digging up four more for me.
