Countless productive conversations, a few mussels and just over 10,000 photos later, and Louisa is back in blighty working on the next paper/article. Thanks to Kristof, Steven and Derek as always. A big recommendation to visit the Plantin-Moretus and Hendrik Conscience Heritage Libraries in Antwerp!

Katie had a brilliant afternoon at a knowledge exchange event hosted by the Shaping Scholarship: Early Donations to the @bodleianlibraries.bsky.social
project discussing databases, the perils of early donation records, and much more. Thank you to Weston Library staff for the fabulous book display.

Louisa is making the final preparations for her next trip to the Plantin-Moretus Museum and Hendrik Conscience Heritage Library in Antwerp as 2024 Nottebohm Fellow. Delighted to return to sights such as this (ARCH 1231, Catalogue d’éditions plantiniennes en 1580). #bookhistory #musicbookhistory

Katie attended the #earlymodern Semi-Public Libraries conference yesterday at Lambeth Palace Library. As well as stimulating discussion on what 'public' means in this context, we enjoyed spectacular views. Thank you @annalujz.bsky.social and the History of Libraries seminar for bringing us together
