It took a while, but Metroid Prime 4 is starting to hit its stride. Really slow start and the narrative delivery is a bit awkward in patches. Samus doesn't really have a good reason to be silent when she has NPCs talking to her, but she just kinda

Metroid Prime 4 stunts with the camera during the morph ball segments are so conspicuously nifty. I almost want to be annoyed, but it's just kinda fun, lol

Just got Air Riders all checklists complete! Very fun, and I still plan on playing for a good while. That last checklist task was pretty obnoxious, lol. Bravo, Sakurai. This is a blast. I could see more stuff they could add to make games even more silly, but this is a fantastic package.

I picked up Metroid Prime 4, but I'll be holding off of playing it for just a bit. Reason being I'm so close to 100% checklists in Air Riders and I wanna get that done. I also wanna check on the Cobalt Core daily

Man, the Air Riders menu theme cooks so extremely hard with the instrumentation. The passing around of the lead lines, the syncopation, the tasty jazzy licks peppered in, and it's mastered very tightly into a somehow relaxing vibe with all that activity. It's ridiculous how neatly produced it is.

I picked up Cobalt Core again recently - absolutely fantastic, cute, sleek little deckbuilder roguelike, and I didn't realize that they added dailies. This one was spicy. I had to do a few attempts. I diluted my deck too much in the first few runs, lol

While I know how the industry goes, I'm kinda hoping Mina's a hit and the studio survives. I feel like it's all the more important these days to support indie games

Okay, so some of the Paddock game modes like Team city Trial and Team Relay are genuinely fun. I just got to cheer for some random guy online that I passed to. Didn't finish first, but was still a very cool time. Team city trial is super interesting, I like the vibe of it.
