It always shocks and saddens me how often modern anti-trans rhetoric is word for word the same as anti-integration rhetoric of the past.
Hell, this statement could be about sharing a bathroom with people of color. That is why it’s important to shut this shit down.

The DFL’s national unpopularity will persist if it insists on complete agreement on social issues. Some convention attendees expressed discomfort with the bathroom arrangements. Telling them their feelings are invalid is more likely to drive them out of the party than change their minds.

My son will likely never know who Andy Rooney was. He will live a Rooney-free life. (Well, there was an overlap but we didn't watch 60 min so he wasn't exposed)
