I feel I should caveat this by saying that, obviously, there is a significant portion of the population, who also just walk in the middle of the pavement, thereby taking up the entire thing.

It was pointed out to me recently that, although Brits drive on the left, we appear to walk on the right. And this has revealed so many things to me, and simultaneously made me completely incensed.

I had a guy on the phone at work the other day, explicitly tell me he was going to go into a branch to give the staff there "hell" because ✨he✨ couldn't work out how to log in to his internet banking... As if that's somehow our fault?
