Why not? They're giving $82 billion to military spending. How about skimming off a bit to start industry here instead of paying others?

I'd rather Canada invest in Canadian projects. An East West power grid. New green energy plants. Things that will benefit Canadians and not become obsolete when the investors leave.

Investment for who? The foreign buyers are the ones profiting. And they'll leave as soon as it's not profitable.

Giving foreign companies money to place foreign built equipment on our land to reap the profits of our resources is not nation building. Nor is it generational, as the investors will disappear as soon as it isn't profitable, which will be soon since fossil fuels are on the way out.

I don't know. Maybe if the girls were all brown skinned they would ignore it. But I think if anything has a chance to dethrone the 🍊💩, this is it.
