Ex census2023 enumerator here. Hottotuwa’s overwrought, unsubstantiated and just plain wrong comments bear no relation to the experiences of the three enumerator teams in our region. Our main problem was free-roaming dogs. People themselves were polite and courteous.

There are only two sexes when it comes to the human population. Characteristics will vary, esp when there’s a adSD involved but it’s still variation within the category, not across. And as for anti-trans, why are women wanting their rights protected under NZ HRA 1997 called oppressive?

How is accepting an individuals humanity an example of oppression and denial? It’s NOT accepting a point of view with which the person concerned does not agree that’s the issue here for u I’d say.

Respectfully disagree. A definition of sex that has no link to the corporeal is not a definition of sex. As for being in the wrong side of history, a biological definition of sex has been in use for at least 1.000 years. And will continue for the next 1,000, at least.

Perhaps they r waiting until after they meet with the Chief Human Rights Commissioner today. And yes you can be sure that this, and other issues where women’s rights have also been outright ignored, are on her mind.

By the 2010’s the stories could be kept under cover no longer. U r right. The coverup went back to, in my memory, atleast the 1980’s in the North of England. As did the ‘in-plain-sight-but-don’t-u-dare-talk-about-it-u-dirty-feminist’ antics of J Saville & S Smith.
