What are the odds the Afghan national in DC had worked with US forces during the occupation and fled in 2021 only to have his residency cancelled earlier this year under the new administration?

Vintage Deception.

The titles of certain television shows were altered for syndication in order to create the illusion of a new program.

There's strong evidence of Cold War federal site in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. Cushing Academy. This seems to reflect attempts to keep stuff 20 miles from known targets like Maynard. This later evolved to Project 908 and 100s of widely dispersed sites. But not safe if Moscow knew.

Since about 1990, EBS and EAS transmitters were placed as far outside nuclear 2 PSI blast contours to protect antennas. Currently EAS has no fallout protection. KCBS Novato dates to late 1980s. See also NAPB 90 nuclear risk areas. Same for KFI Buena Park.

We need ONE wire service pool reporter to cover Potus. Because powerful old dude got the nukez. The rest can walk out. Stop being insulted. JUST WALK OUT. He won't ban all the wires. Just one is all we need.

This week: An "ugly" reporter, "inside and out."

If for some reason you find yourself in WW3 in 1984 near SFO, drive NNW to Navato, Redding and other areas of NorCal. Same in 2026. This area had near zero nuclear risks. Extensive studies eventually led to Navato selection as EBS PEP circa 1990. Families in Testament should have fled NW.

Today in 1984—just over a year after it first opened in movie theaters—“Testament” was broadcast for the first time on PBS as part of the American Playhouse series. The intimate film memorably dramatizes the devastating effects of a nuclear war on a single family in a small Northern California town.

I was not aware of any sealed pit H bombs without plutonium. Uranium isn't typically used as a hollow sphere. Normal designs are hollowed plutonium with Tritium injection and external neutron source. Precision electrical firing makes the megaton boom. If done right, a safe design in modern use.

Today in 1958, a B-47 on ground alert at Chennault Air Force Base, Louisiana, carrying a sealed-pit hydrogen bomb containing no plutonium, caught fire when the Jet-Assisted Take-Off (JATO) bottles accidentally discharged during the pilot’s acceptance check, pushing the plane into a towing vehicle.

The end game of Goldwater Conservatism was to essentially make govt so small Congress would only be a part-time body. The GOP Dog caught the car. There's a reason there was no GOP House Speaker 1955 - 1994. THIS is the reason. Americans don't want Goldwater's America.

Hey, GOP: you can stay around; we'd like you to consider it, but ONLY on the condition that you GROW A SPINE and a SET OF COJONES for the men...to stand up to the Liar In Chief. If you can't do that, we are not interested. Sorry. No whinning allowed here. Grow a pair and stand tall.

Thanks to the hippie journalist from DC's alternative newspaper QUICKSILVER TIMES for these shots of Mount Weather from 1970.

This is "information program," AKA Mount Weather Cold War EBS newsroom. 32 DC journalists, incl Dan Rather (CBS). EBS tapes and newsroom were paid for by Congress in such hearings. Statements by FCC and FEMA this decade suggest this entire info pgm ripe for declassification. cc @brennancenter.org

General Haig being pretend president. His military orders would be absolutely illegal. Obedience by military commanders illegal.

Yes. In time of war, especially nuclear conflict, commanders would fall in battle. Your president might be the House Speaker or Sec State. Loyalty is to the National Command Authority and lawful successors, not any one person. Loyalty is to the System not the man.

If a president said such a thing they could potentially be impeached for violating their own oath of office to defend the Constitution.
November 25, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Simple question to ask the president. Precisely what US Code civilian crime do you wish to indict Congress for? Name it. Take it to a grand jury or kindly shut up, Mr President. Do it or shut up. Indictments are news stories. Bogus threats aren't. Stop bullying people.

bsky.app/profile/stev...
Imagine for a minute if Mark Kelly had said the opposite statement: That a soldier must follow illegal orders, and that their oath to defend the Constitution does not matter, only their orders matter.
What would the reaction be?

Why did the Mount Weather newsroom, staffed by dozens of White House reporters across multiple presidents, exist? EBS and EAS were meant to keep Russian wartime propaganda off US radio and TV. It was a de facto news censorship system but aimed at Moscow.

To confirm this, we need to see a spike in commodities. Any major military action usually includes a spike in oil and gold. Often lower bond yields. 10 Year US Treasury.

If not now recession, an attack on Venezuela will tip us over the edge. Oil already trades at recessionary levels. 57 dollars per barrel is dirt cheap. There's no global demand.

Based on known record, 2 confirmed and 1 alleged nuclear war tapes were most likely kept in WH Press Sec personal safe at M Weather, to be opened only by PS in person. Code unknown to any MW employees. No access by FEMA Director until 1982. Safe contents unknown to Ted Gup.

One of the most important Cold War documents recently released. I will explain it later in a pinned post. These are the WHCA News Pool for EBS who would have worked at the National News Center providing live Priority Four nuclear war news in addition to taped programming.

Unless this period is different from every other since the 1990 recession, we are already in one. 12 months from now, NBER will declare recession began some time ago. Possibly before Fed did its big cut last year. Textbook economics. Recession may have already ended.

In a 2025 book, Anne Barriault describes work her father did for NIAC on the EBS Cold War program and related matters. Unable to find any contact info so far. Who would have known if Godfrey rumors were true? Her father. Only a handful of people had direct, personal knowledge. He'd have been one.

I did a pitch to NPR a few months ago without result. The only way you'll hear EBS tapes on msm is if Dan Rather will do a sit down with personal anecdotes on Mount Weather. With him and tapes, History Channel or other media might produce it. Academia would take note. Let's make it happen. Maybe.
