I've had a rubbish situation hanging over me for a few weeks that feels like it's been sapping all my creative energy.
Just got word today that it's all been resolved. So... I guess it's time to get back to making a kick-arse TTRPG show!

Woo. So. Guess which genius borked his ancient install of Photoshop by uninstalling the software for his old, dead scanner?
Looks like it's functional enough for me to keep using it for work, but I'll have to do some techy magic to get it working properly again.

This is my bass guitar. It is an awesome bass guitar. The best I've ever owned. Sounds great for slapping. Plays like butter. I love it to bits.

I will say this heartily: FUCK MICROSOFT.

I've been editing in Davinci Resolve now for maybe 3 years, I think.
Gotta say, I'm always impressed by the fact that any problem I run into with an edit can usually be fixed with one of the app's built in tools. But my god, when Resolve bugs out, it's INFURIATING.

Folks, don't do this to people. Retail staff are doing a thankless task, and you benefit from them being there whether you realise it or not.

New PC has arrived and proved a ROYAL pain to get up and running properly.
There are some really stupid issue sin setting up a new Win 11 machine, not helped by the folks I bought it from failing to provide basic info in a direct fashion.
Still, it's all working properly now.

Well, this morning I learned that noise gates are really not all their cracked up to be for recording podcast audio.
It seems like unless you REALLY know what you're doing with them, they introduce audio issues like pops and clicks where you don't want them. That's annoying.

That was a bit of a middling finale, in my opinion. But it did what a season ending should do - namely, pose some questions, dish out some character information and seed some possibilities for where a follow up season might go.
