honestly im just giving up on this topic. and its not because im defending it, i have different views as usual and hope for something that in the current state of things just isnt going to happen due to the current industry.

im thinking deeper than just making it black and white because its a conversation to be had on where the lines are actually drawn as okay and not okay.

and i get it i might lose people over because i want to talk and learn as to why. as well as give my side and opinion on things.

im not going to defend GenAI coding, it doesnt understand it at all and all of the nuances it takes to actually code.

but what if it generated a blank generic landscape, and you tweaked it before it went out? giving new elevations, rock palcement, towns, houses ect for that final touch. sculpting textures for it?

im thinking in smaller terms where it has less impact against peoples jobs and is additive to it.

I generally hate AI, as its typically used to replace or forego people getting jobs completely.

Yet i still feel like there could be good applications for it in work flow.

You can never replace the human element, that ingenuity and creative process. machines just cant do that.

Ive put a lot of hours into it and from where i originally started and where it is now. The solo dev is doing an amazing job with the game and is absolutely top self game and excellent build crafting.

While not exactly the same game, think you should check out @vointhegame.bsky.social.

I highly recommend it and they take community ideas and put them in the game. Ive got 3 items of my own eventually being added.
