i have criticized sarah mcbride many times on here for her unwillingness to stand up for trans people in the halls of congress. but it appears she's at her best behind the scenes, and she did great work getting the medicaid transition ban axed from the BBB. full credit where credit is due

mutual aid networks are necessary, but they will never be sufficient. the whole fucking point of instituting governments in the first place is to have a big machine vested with power that can do things for the people that private individuals can't.
