Many of the largest cons (yes, including ones you’re thinking of) have started telling talent, “we’ll provide your table, but we’re not covering your flight OR your hotel - you’re gonna make $ anyway right?”

I went to a con a month ago in the UK and I was appalled at how much money certain VA’s were asking for when it came to autographs.
I miss the days when cons paid actors an appearance fee, because now it feels like the fans are the ones who are paying for everything.

I suppose being a traveling mentor in FFXIV has some downsides o-o
Sometimes, you find ppl who just fall out of love of the game, and that's fine. Kinda sucks, but they're allowed to have those views.
But if you're not enjoying the game, maybe stop playing it? Kinda silly to stream smth you hate.

I really *REALLY* wanna gather a rag-tag group of people in FF14 that have chicken suits and bits to throw around on Twitch, and do some positive trolling on a really small streamer one day o-o
