Alright this is the next “book” on my to read list. Making “Flood Returns” using the mini game framework was fun, but I’m going to improve the game with orthographic 3D. Mostly just conversion to C++ and changing the game state display.

Alright off to the Apple Store at the mall this morning! Going to get a Smart Folio for my iPad Mini. Had a productive morning already lots of systems stuff done. Hope to get some music in and some more doodling.

Apparently I do have wrinkles but my super high triglycerides were hiding them! On a new drug to try to get that number down and now I’m all wrinkly and old!

So far, my experience with Windows on ARM has been mostly positive. There's a lot more native apps than I would have expected, and for the most part Adobe apps work. Plus it's quiet with outstanding battery life.

Alright! I don't know if sound works on Bluesky if not this is just stock footage of coffee being brewed. But if sound does work this is one of the really really lost Donn Ha songs that I'm going to finish up.

Reset my MacBook Air and put it back into use - mostly for music but I’m also going to update Watch Wars. Like my surface pro, it is a fanless computer. I appreciate that! My other two computers are noisy beasts (Legion Go hooked up to an egpu and my gaming laptop).

Recycled my laser printer this morning. It was a good purchase but I bought some cheap generic toner that exploded in the machine. Between cleaning and getting genuine toner that was $300 I didn’t want to spend. Found a nice HP mega tank printer at Target that can print photos and prints documents.

Alright recycling day! I'm retiring my old color laser printer and two Thinkpads. Definitely got my money's worth out of them, but time moves on! Now I've got a tank inkjet that prints color photos pretty well and a 5G Surface Pro that is my go to out of doors kit.

Lots of random errands! Bank, vape shop, pharmacy, target. Then home to draw and do a smidgen of recording. I have a really really lost song I remembered want to see how it sounds with a couple of guitar parts.

Alright! This Bluetooth ear piece is pretty cool. Good Black Friday buy! I can press one button to ask Siri a question. Siri is terrible. I am right now at Panera listening to Bears Victory Monday on The Score and not completely shut off from the environment. Definitely no need for smart glasses!

Alright feels like years since we’ve had a nice healthy snow! Lake levels have been pretty low and ice coverage has also been low. Driving yesterday was rough but the streets are really good today! Gonna run to food4less and get some snacks.

Alright, this is hawt! I got my 2TB drive installed. So excluding my 256GB mac mini, all my computers have at minimum 2TB of storage. I'm designating my surface pro as the Windows music machine. The real music happens on the mac mini, but for just noodling the surface pro is the machine.

Got a nifty Bluetooth ear piece on Black Friday at Best Buy. It’s really good! One ear is free for the environment while the other ear is listening to podcasts. Missed out on a 2TB ssd for my Surface Pro. I’ve got a 1TB installed and I think 2TB could come in handy may get one at normal prices.

Oof! I got some exercise yesterday and only had a tiny sliver of a slice of fruitcake but my weight shot up four pounds! Fortunately today’s a Bears game day, so I’ll be on the stair machine while the Bears are on offense. Cardiologist Monday.

Already a good foraging day! Mariano’s had fruit cake! One bar is usually enough to see me through to Christmas. Got to stop at Microcenter and Piron still.
