Perhaps. But I feel like they're just waiting for people to get violent so he can declare martial law and suspend elections. Although it's doubtful he'll live out his term...

The fact they tried (and failed) to label it as a "Hate America" rally shows they're bothered by it. If something doesn't bother you, you completely ignore it and don't give it unnecessary attention. Even though we're on the same side, I disagree. They're uneasy...for now.

1. It's not a "single day parade". It's peaceful protest.
2. Our country was literally formed from protesting rule by king.

If it's just "performative", why is the right so terrified? They're everywhere calling it the "Hate America" rally. They are NOT confident in their power. The sheer numbers are secretly scaring them.

It's also a "big box stores" boycott. So, buy everything local this weekend. No ordering online from huge corporations (i.e. Amazon, Walmart...).
