The only ones who don't, can't or won't know it are the blind followers who are the puppets of their scheme. They are the ones who will willingly walk themselves, and this nation, off the cliff of downfall waving the flag and a torch to burn it on the way.

The danger is, the world knows it, the resistance knows it, many who hide in shadows know it, hell, even the person in the White House and his army of loyalist know it.

And even in my wanting disbelief, my actions confirmed my unconscious fears.

My realization, in that moment, was a conscious recognition that all the subversive actions, of silencing voices of descent, by the current government, had gotten into my subconscious thoughts.

I know I am human and, in my recognition, it will not happen again. However, it was eye opening. I would never have given a thought before to expressing my views in these forums. So what changed? My freedom and this administration.

Would my comments have been all that controversial or important, no not really. But that's not the point. The point, that most of you may already understand, is I intentionally chose not to comment. I silenced/censored myself because...of fear!

After the film there was a Q&A. And this genre is one of my favorites. So commenting would have been right up my alley. But that night I was silent. Why? I was worried I may have innocently sparked a political conversation. So, I didn't say a word and now I am ashamed.
