The stat of the school of public health air quality during the faculty assembly isn’t very good. I’m wearing an N95 and may have to pass on the wonderfully smelling Indian food on the table next to me.

This book’s been on my shelf since 1988, barely opened it. Now I feel an urgency to read abt the “Nazi doctors… central role in genocidal projects,” as my tax dollars go to support one, and a incoming president’s advisors search for medical justifications for planned mass deportations. #medsky

This is me with mumps in the late 1950s. Back then about 180,000 kids got it every year and 40 or 50 died. A few hundred others end up with deafness or other disabilities. I just had high fevers and hallucinations, missed a lot of school that year – 2 weeks for mumps and 2 weeks for chicken pox.
