Figured since I've been playing both games back to back with Hollow Knight already beaten recently, I'd finish coloring this piece featuring both the Knight and Hornet together in a sort of mirrored portrait. Love the contrast between the two.

Another palette cleanser for me, after a month of working on a prototype. Figured I'd showcase more of Abby's metal arm power, saving a friend of hers from a hard cave-in.

So update on Abby's mod, I have finished all the parts for Abby's in-game sprite, and she is pretty much playable right now.

I still have yet to make the HUD and Character Select portraits though, so is not out yet.

So I've heard from a friend that Castle Crashers got a DLC that lets you create your own character into the game...

And so I didn't want to miss out, so I'm doing Abby in the game. This is a WIP tho, she's not yet ready.

This time, I really wanted to experiment with the flipnote brushes while coloring this one. Given the uniqueness of Abby, I figured I can go a bit nuts with the colors if her realm.

But I am happy with the result regardless.

Honestly, I wanna bring these two back. Been thinking about the previous game I was working on before Cheddarhead, which involved the two characters below (Wizmorf and Majyan) and the temptation to start that project again has been gnawing at me.

Redesigned an OC I had on PTon that I don't think I have shown off here.

Her name's Abby, and she has a big, strong iron arm. Not related to Cheddarhead in any way, just a comfort OC I made for when I wanna draw silly stuff.

A secondary mascot, maybe? I unno.

I added the HUD, and made some quick changes here and there to some of the stuff. Now it's starting to feel more like a game. Although I don't feel okay with the frame drops tho.

Might have to check on that...

Sorry for not updating sooner, IRL work got in the way.

Anyway, I finally made the player, set up animations and even got the gun working. Controls are solid so far, tho some more testing is required. After this, I'll be adding the player UI.

I released another map today. This time I tried to use some custom assets from Realm 667 to make a nukage-themed level.

It's called Toxic Citadel. Not the most original but it was a fun bit.
