The spiral background is a miniature magnetic vortex @steph-sheridan.bsky.social & I made, filmed at 1000fps. The logos were made with CRT TVs & glitch hardware. More info in alt txt!

Chasing trends almost always ends up this way. It wasn’t a good idea 5 years ago because they decided to throw ideas at a wall and hope they stick. Considering we’ve seen 1 of these games and it was middling… I assume they didn’t have many great ideas to warrant 12 games.

Level design is different at every studio but at Naughty Dog we wear a lot of hats. While we’re building a fun space and working out pacing, new mechanics etc we also think about architecture, context, shapes, modular components and general composition…
