I had to try the Hot Dr Pepper. Heat Dr Pepper in the microwave to 180-190°, then pour over a thin slice of lemon. To get the full Southern experience, I made some buttermilk biscuits.
My verdict: Not bad. It’s sweet, but the plum, allspice, pepper, anise, and orange flavors become dominant. 1/
