I like to write fantasy and sci fi. I am interested in using worldbuilding to explore philosophy (and vice versa). No one will be too surprised to hear that I also like conlangs.
Agreed, I'm excited by the idea that AI could help with medical research. There have been some false starts (a sepsis detection AI that used "prescribed antibiotics" as its main variable for diagnosing sepsis [which is an infection]) but I think that's a reason to improve our methods, not give up.

I do a lot of data analysis where the data is in PDFs, and I've found ChatGPT is really good at turning an uncopy-able PDF table into a copy-able table.
That said, I'm totally open for another piece of software that did the same thing faster and with less compute.

If I bring up trade or prices with my players (many of whom do economics), that's a whole session worth of discussion right there 😂
