We were fortunate Grandma kept everything. Clearing her house was a challenge as we had to look at every bit of paper. Well worth it though.

I’ve started transcribing letters and postcards for the family history figuring the next generation will have no clue. I will admit 1800s stuff has its challenges (Fs, Ts, Hs).

Wish I had saved more of my dad’s collection of Singer parts. He worked for Singer in the 60s and still repaired them up to his passing 5 years ago.
