They are quick to make and you can never have enough of them. If you do happen to have more than you need, you can make them for others. My family won’t wear sweaters for the most part, but they love the wool socks I make them. They are also an extremely portable knit, unlike a sweater.

Try Tunisian crochet. It is the gateway drug to knitting.
