Dodder Action is an action group set up to improve the Dodder River and its tributaries for the well-being and enjoyment of local communities
We’re going to tackle the Bottle Swamp again next Sunday 20 July. Meet at the bridge on Whitestown Drive at 10.00. We need people to go in the water and people to work the bank. Lots of nettles and briars so wear appropriate clothing and bring strong gloves.

The next screening of our beautiful film “This is your River” will take place in Ballyroan Community and Youth Centre on May 6th at 7.30pm. Admission is free. Come along and join us.

A big thank you to the 17 amazing people from Dodder Action and Cherryfield Dog Walkers who came out this morning to clean the Cherryfield section of Dodder Valley Park. We were blessed with glorious weather after a very cold start, and were amazed at just how much rubbish we picked up.

Dodder Action will be joining Cherryfield Dogwalkers for a clean up of a section of Dodder Valley Park on Saturday 18th January at 10.00. Meet at Cherryfield car park (parking limited). Bags and pickers will be provided, bring your own gloves and wear sturdy footwear.

Dodder Action will be joining Cherryfield Dogwalkers for a clean up of a section of Dodder Valley Park on Saturday 18th January at 10.00. Meet at Cherryfield car park (parking limited). Bags and pickers will be provided, bring your own gloves and wear sturdy footwear.
A wonderful turn out of 15 volunteers today in Milltown who totalled some derelict camp sites at the Nine Arches in double quick time. Evidence of some very sad lives, including syringes... Hope to see you again on January 18th

No Milltown clean up this Saturday due to a terrible weather forecast, despite how badly it's needed! We will keep you posted on a rematch if the weather plays ball!

On Sunday we were in Jobstown for our final clean of the Jobstown Stream this year. Plenty of rubbish including fireworks, bikes, scooters, a large glass window pane and two dead cats.
