Next year, I'll also be finishing up the Dark is Rising books and the Wolf Hall books. I will continue my progress through the works of Virginia Woolf and Yasanuri Kawabata. And I am always up for a reread of Once and Future King which I first read over fifty years ago.

All corporate welfare sucks, but this particular issue really grinds my gears. A city that subsidizes a major league sports franchise, through tax breaks, or low or free lease of public sports venues, should at the very least have equity in the team.

And I'm not even a sports fan.

Get 'em hooked first. For some folks buying a trilogy may seem daunting.
